Cancer Council SPF50 + Day Wear Face Matte Invisible What it is: a light moisturizing lotion with spf 50+ to protect from UV rays and prevent premature aging. Key ingredients: - Aloe Vera hydrates the skin. - Vitamin E to increase the dose of hydration, and it is also an antioxidant that protects the skin from the damage of free radicals. - Active Ingredients: Octocrylene 30mg / g, Butyl Methoxydibenzoylmethane 30mg / g, 4-Methylbenzylidene Camphor 20mg / g, Ethylhexyl Triazone. These are the chemical filters of spf. - Phenoxyethanol, preservative. My experience: I chose the non-water resistant version, because even if I got that water resistant one, I would reapply it regularly (and so should you). This is how it worked best for me: although it is moisturizing (you don't need to apply moisturizer before this one), I noticed that it worked best when I applied a thin layer of my usual AM moisturizer, as it has ingredients that keep my sebum production under control. It is often debated how many finger lengths of sunscreen we should apply to the face and neck and it depends. Since this is a thicker texture, 2 finger lengths for the face and 1 for the neck are enough. It does not contain alcohol, so it takes a few minutes to absorb into the skin, but after that it does not feel greasy at all. Apply your makeup at least 15 minutes after applying your spf. This sunscreen does not leave a white caste, doesn't burn the eyes. It does not pill when combined with other products in the routine and stays perfect under makeup. Re-application during the day has been easy and pleasant. The fact that it has added hydration did not bother me at all. It has not broken me out. It gives that nice glass skin effect (which chemical sunscreens usually don't do). I appreciate that it is in a 75ml package (there is also a 150ml version), because it makes it more affordable. My recommendation: I fully recommend it! Does not contain allergens, alcohols, fragrances. Also very suitable for under the makeup. People with dry skin will love this, even though it says matte on the bottle I don't feel like this is actually matte. People with very oily skin can use this alone, without a moisturizer.
