For me, the @innisfreeindia Aloe Revital Sleeping Mask is a game changer. 🌿This cream has a great consistency and a creamy texture. It's very light, but it's nourishing and hydrating at the same time. It also doesn't have any scent, essential oils, or drying alcohols, which is essential for sensitive skin and individuals with a compromised barrier. 🌿I made the greatest mistake of applying retinol too close to my eyelids and around the entire eye area, making it extremely sensitive and painful to the touch. Probably the worst mistake I've ever made, and the only thing that saved me was this miraculous cream✨✨✨ Aloe leaf extract🌿 is one of the primary ingredients in this product, which explains why it's so effective at healing skin irritation. If you're unfamiliar with aloe leaf extract, it's the juice obtained from the leaves of the Aloe vera plant. The juice itself possesses hydrating, emollient, and anti-inflammatory effects. It also contains Madecassoside, a powerful antioxidant. It's good for irritated, acne-prone, and photodamaged skin. 🌿If I'm feeling very fancy, I'll apply a thick layer of this and then top it with vaseline to lock everything in. Because this is really light and airy, I wouldn't recommend it to someone with extremely dry skin. It's done wonders for this retinizing gal😆, and if you have sensitive skin that gets red and irritated quickly, you can't go wrong with this
