The Claim: - AHA: Promotes exfoliation of old dead skin cells and stimulates the production of collagen and glycosaminoglycans - BHA: Helps dissolve sebum keratin scales and prevents bacteria growth - Galactomyces: Moisturizes skin, increases its immunity, and protects skin cells from exposure to UV rays - Prevents blackheads, tightens pores, restores the hydro-balance and pH of the skin. My Take: The AHA is lactic acid and BHA is willow bark extract, so this is not as potent as first thought. I like incorporating a mild exfoliating toner daily in my morning routine and save the strong stuff for the evening. I found this toner is great for this purpose, offering a gentle daily polish that my mature skin appreciates. As with all Ma:nyo products, this has no added fragrance. One thing I really like is the pump packaging. 2 pumps is just the right amount for what I need. There’s not too many toners packaged this way, I wonder why🤔 The upgraded version increases the size to 210 ml and does away with the pump… I definitely prefer the old packaging in this regard. Conclusion: I really like this version, especially because I know I am not sensitive to AHA and BHA. It will be interesting to see how the new one compares, maybe I’ll get to try it some day.
