Daily Sheet Mask – Black Tea (Hydrating)
You have probably heard that we can do sheet masks for every day and it’s fine to use a sheet mask daily if it’s not a chemical exfoliant-containing sheet mask.
But for my acne-prone skin, I wouldn't use individually packaged sheet masks every day as the thick and gloopy substance in sheet mask can sometimes be occlusive, pores blocking and resulting in aggravate acne.
I bought this because it’s one of the multipack sheet mask that isn’t individually packaged. They're very convenient for daily use, and I love that there isn't a bunch of unnecessary excess packaging. The packaging is so much more eco-friendly than individually packaged sheet masks. The little tweezers that come with it to pull the sheets out is a great idea.
There was not so many review so it was a gamble, and for me, it’s pretty good average sheet mask.
The tencel sheets fit and adhere perfectly. The essence are fully saturated but don't drip. They have a bit of a tea-stained colour, a light beige.
They have a slight scent to them that's pleasant and a little sweet like a black tea. Not a fan of the added lemon extract and fragrance, but it hasn’t caused my sensitise skin any irritation.
They leave skin feeling hydrated and refreshed, but also leave a little sticky. If you're following this with a moisturiser or sunblock, you won't notice that though.
The essence is full of humectants and skin soothers as well as polyphenols from the tea. The first four ingredients after water, glycerin and dipropylene glycol are green tea extract.
Appropriate for all skin types.
They're competitively priced for 33 masks and the price point makes it easy to have spa day every day ✨
It's not too hydrating and moisturising but I has a separate pile for travel like this A'pieu, and pamper days that are individually wrapped, and like to get packs like this for regular daily use.
The PAO of the product is too short and they only remain fresh for 90 days after opening the package.
I store it inside a refrigerator to keep the essence last longer. I notice that if I put it outside and left the lid open, the essence may dry.
The essence is too little and it tends to accumulate at the bottom of the tub, so I need to turn it upside down for a few seconds to get the top layers of the sheets drenched in essence.
