ExfoliKate Glow Moisturizer
Pros:
🔸️Super cute packaging
🔸️Nice slip upon application
🔸️Papaya and Pumpkin Enzymes
🔸️Squalane high on ingredient list
🗣Those are the only positives I have as this was just not the product for me. See cons list for a detailed list why...
Cons:
🔸️Too strong for my skin type
🔸️It costs $70
🔸️way too many citrus oils
🔸️It costs $70
🔸️too many essential oils in general
🔸️It costs $70
🔸️ The use of words like "perfect" & "safe" on their website.
🔸️Did I mention its $70?!
🔸️Using words like "gentle" despite having glycolic acid & lactic acid as well as tons of oils that I don't personally consider gentle while refusing to disclose the percentages seems disingenuous to me.
🔸️Its $70 freaking dollars.
🗣As I'm sure you can tell, I am not a fan of this moisturizer....or the marketing...or the price. It irritated my skin and the smell lingered for a long time. The first use wasn't bad...Just a little intense (which I expected considering glycolic acid and citrus oils) but after skipping a couple days and using it again my face was super red and irritated when I woke up the next morning.
Nothing about this felt gentle and seeing the website claims annoyed me so I apologize if this review sounds aggressive. I'm just not a fan of the claims vs the results here. Oh and I recieved this in a subscription box, so I definitely did not and would not pay that much for a moisturizer. If you have really tolerant skin you may love this, but I don't recommend it for anyone with even slightly sensitive skin.
