Clear Collective Balancing Capsule Toner
đ
Packagingđ
:
Truth be told, I love this packaging. It doesnât feel flimsy and is just as aesthetically pleasing as its matching cleanser. Itâs easy to disperse the right amount of toner and Iâve had no issues of this spilling when I pack it in a travel bag.
đ¸Textuređ¸:
This toner is formulated with little oil capsules that are supposed to dissolve as you pat it on your skin. Itâs not too viscous but itâs definitely a lot thicker than watery/runny toners (such as Skin 1004 Centella Toner, which somehow feels lighter than actual water).
âď¸Resultsâď¸:
It works really well when paired with the matching clear collective cleanser and moisturizer. I love how it hydrates my skin without making it look or feel greasy. It helps with my oil production and simultaneously provides adequate hydration, which is impressive since a lot of skincare products donât have such a perfect balance.
I certainly think that this is a great product for the price, especially for combo skin types. Iâm not sure if I would recommend it to someone with really oily or really dry skin. Itâs definitely a unique and innovative toner and overall Iâve enjoyed using it!
Although the oil capsules are an interesting idea, I donât really like how not all of the capsules are easily dissolved. I use this toner by patting it on my face since thatâs my preferred method of applying toner, but I donât think it would work well with cotton rounds because of its viscosity. My skin doesnât âdrinkâ this up very quickly. Itâs not ideal for layering since itâs not thin enough, but it does make my skin look and feel plump enough for my liking. These are all pretty minor complaints though.
