Houttuynia cordata Hush Serum
๐๐๐ฒ ๐๐ง๐ ๐ซ๐๐๐ข๐๐ง๐ญ๐ฌ: Made up of 10% fermented Houttuynia Cordata claimed to promote a clear complexion by directly treating acne. Also known as Heartleaf, this main ingredient is known for its soothing effect.
๐๐๐ฑ๐ญ๐ฎ๐ซ๐/๐๐๐๐ง๐ญ: This has a strong fresh scent that very quickly dissipates. Itโs very watery and it sinks into the skin very quickly, leaving zero tackiness.
๐๐๐๐ค๐๐ ๐ข๐ง๐ : It comes in a nice and easy to use 150 ml pump bottle made of lightweight plastic.
๐๐ฒ ๐๐ฑ๐ฉ๐๐ซ๐ข๐๐ง๐๐/๐ญ๐ก๐จ๐ฎ๐ ๐ก๐ญ๐ฌ: Although it is labeled as a serum, I would say that this is actually more of an ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐. I used a little cotton pad and only applied it to specific problem areas. This actually helped dry out my pimples when I had a little breakout recently.
On the website they suggest that you can replace the cap and use it as a mist! I only did this a couple times and I found it quite refreshing. Alive:Lab also suggested that this can be used to treat acne on the back and the chest which is mostly how Iโve been using it. Itโs been great so far and itโs honestly really helped control acne.
๐๐จ๐ง๐๐๐ซ๐ง๐ฌ: It can sting a little on sensitive areas and feel drying on the face. It also has tea tree oil and a high concentration of witch hazel extract. This also has ethanol as third on the ingredients list. This probably isnโt for people with sensitive skin. This is a lot less of a concern if you end up using this as a body treatment more than a facial treatment like I did. I thought it was perfect when I used it that way.
๐๐๐ญ๐ข๐ง๐ : 3/5 as a facial treatment but 5/5 for use on bacne! ๐ I would say this is great if youโre looking for an a nice astringent too.
