pH Balancing Watery Cleansing Oil
Oil from water - what's new? Today I'm talking about Acwell pH Balancing Watery Cleansing Oil.
Among the interesting things are many extracts (mint, lemon balm, witch hazel, wormwood, tea tree, licorice, etc.).
I didn't look at the inci before buying, and was surprised - water comes first. Plus there are no oils in the inci at all, neither natural nor mineral ⚠
This has left its mark on the functionality of the oil, and this is very important to consider before buying.
The oil has two functions - cleansing the skin and pores, and removing makeup.
I use oils mainly for the purpose of cleansing pores, as my skin is a problem with enlarged, easily clogged pores.
And because of the lack of oils in Acwell, this function is less pronounced.
Of course, there are solvents, oil substitutes, but apparently there are very few of them to give the same degree of pore cleansing as classic hydrophilic oils with oils.
The consistency of Acwell is very light and runny. And no longer oily, but water-gel.
It doesn't manage to massage the skin for a long time, there is no this very oiliness, because of which there is usually a slip.
But this is the ideal option for removing makeup.
Acwell copes very well with silicone products, mascara, and other persistent products. At the same time, it does not leave a film, doesn't give a oil veil on the eyes, is completely washed off the skin.
If you are looking for a light oil for every day just for make-up remover - then this is it.
Also, if you are the owner of the skin without any problems, then it is also suitable for a two-step cleansing.
Suitable for oily and combined types if it is scary to start with heavy oils and clog the pores (and there is such a risk, not all hydrophilic oils are washed off well, unfortunately).
And the most important thing is that all owners of sensitive and couperose skin have a big green light. The oil is very light and does not irritate the skin or eyes at all. Plus, there are many soothing extracts in the composition.
The skin is cleansed with it well, the pores are not clogged, the sebum from the pores also cleanses well, it's just not enough in comparison. I know what my pores might look like, so I can't be 100% satisfied with Acwell.
Because of the lack of oils in Acwell, this function is less pronounced.
