Bifida Biome Concentrate Cream
The texture of this cream was very surprising! I'd gotten this to use as a winter cream, thinking it'd be thick, but it applies surprisingly lightly; it's one of those creams that feels like a drink of water for your skin, almost like a concentrated gel cream without the silicone feel that many gel creams have? I was able to apply several layers of this without worrying about clogging my pores or feeling like my skin couldn't breathe (personally, the Illiyoon concentrate cream gives me this feeling, unfortunately). I also started using this along with the bifida biome ampoule during a time when my skin barrier was in bad shape, and felt like the two together helped a lot to repair it. They were also both very gentle on my sensitive skin and never stung, unlike several other "barrier repair" products.
I'm generally pretty sensitive to fragrance but liked the light scent of this cream - I'm unsure whether there was synthetic fragrance added, but it smelled faintly of lychee which I personally liked lol.
Overall, this was very enjoyable to use and the lux packaging definitely added to the whole experience! I'd recommend this to those with oily-combo and/or dehydrated skin especially.
The texture of this cream was both good and bad for me - it felt a bit like Goldilocks, where it was a bit too much for daytime (I used this in the fall, on vacation in a humid area then in a dryer climate) and not enough at night. The best way for me was to apply a light layer of a sleeping mask on top of this at night - I think this works well because this cream is more hydrating than occlusive, so if you apply a thin layer of something more occlusive on top, it'll be able to seal everything in. I always woke up with plump skin!
For the daytime, I'm unsure if it's because of my layers of products, but I did find that this unfortunately pilled under makeup for me - so I'd recommend this maybe as a night cream for summer/spring, or for more oily-skin-leaning folks. For more combo-dry or dry skin, you'd have to combine it with a thicker occlusive on top.
