Mizon - Beautyaleert review for Joyful Time Essence Mask Hyaluronic Acid

Mizon - Joyful Time Essence Mask Hyaluronic Acid 💧 Formulated with Hyaluronic Acid and Centella Asiatica this sheet mask is supposedly a good option for dehydrated/dry skin. Texture: The sheet masked is fairly soaked with essence and does cover the whole face. After removing the mask, the leftover essence feels sticky/tacky and takes some time to get fully absorbed. Attributes: ✔Paraben free ✔Silicone free ✔Sulfate free ✔Cruelty free Key ingredients: 🗝Hyaluronic Acid 🗝Centella Asiatica 🗝Allantoin 🗝Glycerin My thoughts: This was one of the first sheet masks I've ever used and it kinda putt me off using them any further because I had a horrible experience. I was fairly new to the skincare world and wasn't really into reading reviews and looking for ingredients. I didn't really pay attention to the fact that it contains both Fragrance and Alcohol, both of which are not suitable for my sensitive skin. After using up a couple of these mask sheets, I had a really bad skin irritation episode and broke out horribly. I don't usually break out (apart from the occasional spot here or there), and as someone with a dry skin I don't really have acne problems. I have NEVER EVER experienced deep acne until I used these masks. It was horrible. Thankfully my skin did recover and there were no scars, but it was a stressing experience nonetheless. I do not recommend these masks for fellow sensitive skin types, or for any other skin type for that matter. Alcohol is not good for the skin even if you don't react to it, and there are plenty of good options in the market nowadays with cleaner ingredients, so please stay away from this.
