This beauty is one of this "One ingredient" products, according Korean producers. In reality, we know this essence contains other ingredients: *A solvent liquid: water. *Irish Red seaweed (Chondrus Chrispus) rich in protein, vitamins and antioxidants. *Humectants like Glycerin and Butanediol. *Hexanediol to help extract all the goodness in the seaweed. Missha tells us that this essence is fermented 100 days. This way the seaweed is broken down into smaller particles, so nutrients are easier absorbed into the skin. Fermented products are also packed with amino acids and have anti-inflammatory properties. The Essence has a beautiful light red shade and its odourless. Consistency is liquid but it has a little body to it, due to the glycerin and the seaweed. It absorbs very nicely into skin bit takes some patting but it's neither sticky or tacky. Skin is left hydrated, plumped and very soft. The packaging is like all other essences from this brand: sturdy, heavy and elegant, red tinted glass tall bottle. In my opinion this is a much better essence than the one in the transparent bottle and most of the First essences in the market.
