This is an essence that’s formulated to hydrate the skin, retain hydration for all-day hydration, and brightens skin. It contains a hydration solution to lock and retain skin’s moisture. Ingredients such as kale leaf extract and watercress extract work as antioxidants to help protect the skin from environmental stressors. It also contains Ascorbyl Glucoside to help brighten the skin. The product has a thick serum consistency, and a floral scent. This is one of the first Laneige products I’ve tried (definitely not the last!). This leaves my skin looking really fresh and dewy, but not overly greasy. It provides great hydration that lasted all throughout the day. I really enjoy the floral scent, but I know some people are sensitive to scents (those with sensitive skin should do a patch test before). This is a great option for oily/combination skin! I know Laneige has similar products in cream and gel form, so those would be better for dry/normal skin.
