AXIS-Y - missionhydration review for Aqua Boosting Essence Toner

Axis-Y Aqua Boosting Essence Toner, is a product I bought a little while back but recently I’ve tried to incorporate into my daily routine to really see what it’s made of. This an hyaluronic acid focused toner with some other added goodies and the brand claims it will provide a burst of hydration that reaches 10 layers deep, giving you a clear, dewy and bright complexion. The star ingredients: 💦 10 types of hyaluronic acid! 💦 6 premium natural ingredients the most notable of which are squalane, heartleaf and green tea So now to my thoughts…I want to preface this by saying I am really starting to turn my back on products whose core feature is HA. I’ve tried and tried to work with it but it just seems to suck the moisture out of my face. Yes I know how to use it properly and no I doubt it’s my climate because it has rained non stop for the past six months and nothing has changed 🤣 I thought this toner could make a difference with all of its added goodies but I’m sorry to say it hasn’t. Since using daily I’ve developed dry flaky patches that I haven’t had in ages and my face feels really tight. This isn’t a review to bash the brand because they do have some really great products, this is just a case of it didn’t work for me. If you find HA to be a wonder ingredient I think you will loooove this. It’s like Hada Labo Premium Lotion but with added extras, thick, silky and suitable for sensitive skin.
