Gentle Cleansing Milk
Like the name suggests, this is a gentle cleansing milk. It works as I would expect a cleansing milk to work. Cleanses my skin without leaving it dry. It does remove minimal makeup, but if wearing anything more than that or water resistant sunscreen, I would definitely use a cleansing balm first.
It's quite fragranced. I don't personally enjoy the floral scent. It's also something that increases the chances of irritation, so I'd prefer it without the fragrance for that reason as well.
Caudalie is not a cruelty free brand.
As for the marketing of this whole brand as "natural" and "clean", I don't appreciate it. It's misleading and contributes to fearmongering against perfectly safe and effective ingredients and brands. "Natural" is not better than synthetic.
