Verdict:
What I liked about this product:
This was my first time trying a skincare-makeup hybrid product and I am happy I did! This essence contains ingredients for both skincare (hydration, pore care, oil control, brightening, moisture, anti-aging, and soothing) and makeup purposes (blurring, makeup prep). It does not have any scent, is very lightweight, absorbs fast into the skin, does not feel sticky or greasy, and has a glassy finish. In addition to making my skin glow it makes my skin look poreless and I noticed that my makeup looked more fresh and neat even after 10h of wear (usually after that long it starts looking cakey). I am super satisfied and would totally recommend this product!
What I didn't like about this product:
- I don't think a tube packaging is the best for such a runny watery product because it's not easy to control how much is being squeezed out and I often endes up using too much product.
- I hope the tube packaging of the full size product is more sturdy because the sample tube felt fragile and the cap could barely twist and seal the tube.
- I am wondering whether applying this product disturbs my SPF? I haven't noticed any issues so far, but I think that's something to keep in mind.
