All Day Broad Spectrum SPF 50
initially i used this spf when i knew i was going out and about because of the spf 50, but “going out” was (and still is) super rare for me 😬
i will say, though, the spf does work! on the days i went out and used it, i would come back home with no sun burns, redness, inflamed skin, etc. the following days ahead. so yay!
it was lightweight and absorbed nicely without leaving a white cast on my skin; and it did not leave any thick or sticky residue.
my skin would end up oily. maybe about 30 minutes in, my face was oily. no, it was not sweat. i may do some outdoor activities and it is hot here in los angeles, but not enough to make myself sweat.
i learned to use this spf on days when i am not wearing any makeup even if it was a simple tinted foundation or face powder. i switched to using the spf to indoors, where i didn’t mind being as oily as heck when i’m in the comfort of my own home 🤭
this could be considered as a pro and con —
the spf does have a VERY light fragrance (phthalate-free!). i am not quite sure how to describe it (i really dont’t!!), but fortunately it was nothing like that sunblock smell i remember growing up.
PRO
the fragrance didn’t last very long, so if you dont mind a temporary scent for a few minutes, this shouldn’t be too much of an issue. the scent threw me off at first, but i got used to it after a few applications and didn’t mind it in the end because it did not irritate my skin or anything.
CON
however if you’re not a fan of fragrance at all, please skip this.
overall, this was a great spf for everyday use! i am trying out different spfs for indoors and outdoors, and this will probably go on my “for indoor use” list.
