This has a similar smell and texture to the Ordinary retinol that comes out yellow. It's not my favourite form of retinol, as I don't like the smell and the texture is off for me. 

I found this to be a good, gentle retinol alternative for days when your skin is a bit more sensitive. I liked the purple colour and super cute deluxe sample I got. Need a bit more time to see longer results.
