The Schwanen Garten Multi-Active Antioxidant Ampoule might be one of the most powerful antioxidant products I have ever tried. It provides intense protection against free radicals by using: *A base of Propanediol that enhances absorption. *The SG Antioxidant complex (patent pending) packed with antioxidant ingredients like Scutellaria Baicalensis, Green tea, Thyme, Oregano or Larix Siberica. *and also anti-inflammatory and soothing effects from Chamomile, Licorice root or Lavender. *Birch bark to strenghten skin barrier. *Milder preservatives derived from Lichen and Pulsatilla. *Free of toxic and irritating ingredients like petroleum based feedstocks, harsh preservatives or fragrance. This is an odourless and very light yellow serum with the typical light oil consistency of Propanediol based serums. I mix two drops with a gel essence every morning and apply all over my face, also the eye area and have never experienced irritation. Sometimes I combine with a drop of my beloved Pycnogenol serum. This product gives me a healthy complexion and glow. As with other antioxidant serums, I really felt the difference when I discontinued use for some days. I really like my antioxidant serums to be based on Propanediol, as I have found out that Vit C holds up to 8 times longer in my cabinet without oxidating.
