🥛 This is a skin-friendly cleanser of pH 5.5~6
that gently cleanses skin while keeping it balanced and moisturized. The blue variant is supposed to be relief care — there are two other variants: toning (pink) and AHA (green) but not sure if they’re low pH as well.
🥛 I tested pH was glad to see it’s pH 5.5 as promised.
🥛 With a bit of effort (best with my silicone face brush) this does lather well and cleanse just fine, and does leave my skin soft and supple, with no dry or tight feeling. I find it also helps calm down itchiness and redness, which I get a lot during the summer.
There are two things I’m not crazy about: first is the texture and consistency out of the tube. It’s like it’s not properly mixed or melded together (this isn’t expiring until next year, mind) — instead of a smooth, opaque paste, I get a weird mix of clear liquid and “curds,” which make it challenging to lather as I have to chase the solid bits around on my palm or my face.
🥛Second is that acrid, herby “unscented” scent although that’s not really a dealbreaker for me. I just wish “milk” products have that milky scent because I get some dissonance when I get a whiff of it but expect something else entirely.
