[Shade Range]
Pomelo, despite its nude tone, has healthy pigmentation and creamy shine that eventually dries down a bit. It can be sheered out, or worn more thickly for coverage. It is creamy and skin-toned, so it won't really leave a stain unless perhaps your lips have very little pigment. Pomelo is a slightly brownie peach, great for olive skin tones, that really mutes the red in my lips and evens out pigmentation. It's a really nice nude on me.
#22 Pomelo Skin: Not-too-white-beige shade that fits warm undertones
[Price]
I can't remember what I paid for each, but on Romand's site they are $13 USD. On many other sites like Olive Young, Jolse, and YesStyle, they fluctuate in between $7-$9 USD.
[Texture]
This formula is a thin, creamy gloss texture that is smooth. Not sticky at all, but does have a slightly tacky feel that gives it some staying power. It is moderately moisturizing, but I don't feel it's a gloss formula that I reach for to treat dryness. But the formula is very forgiving and flexible, always makes my uneven chapped lips look smoother and uniform in color.
[Scent]
The scent is a fresh and fruity fragrance that is lovely. It adds to the application experience and is not strong or long-lasting. There also is not an offensive taste.
[Conclusion]
It's really hard for me to find a good nude that works with my olive skin tone and doesn't make my pigmented lips corpse-like. I really like Pomelo, I would absolutely repurchase! I like the entire Bare Juicy line of Lasting Tints. The muted, true nude tones are really lovely and flexible. It is an easy lip product you don't need a mirror to apply, but feels slightly more elevated compared to a lip balm.
The only thing I can add as a con is that after a few hours and the product has dried down, the formula goes slightly gummy. When this happens, I don't recommend applying over itself. Remove whatever product is left on your lips then apply a fresh coat.
That old product balls up and changes in consistency, so its longevity isn't great, but creamy glosses are never known for their longevity.

Thanks for the lip swatch. It always helps to actually see the shade mixed with someone’s natural tone for those of us with pigmented lips.
