This toner is superb for those suffering from rosacea, experience redness or irritation. Its main ingredient, Astragalus Membranaceus root extract is a rich source of antioxidants, has anti-inflammatory and anti-aging effects. This is very important for rosacea prone skin as the cummulative inflammation leads to faster skin ageing. The toner does not contain water but over 91% Astragalus Membranaceus root extract (Milk Vetch). My skin type and concerns: Mature, dry, dehydrated, rosacea and Malassezia ("fungal acne") prone skin. Prone to redness, irritation and closed comedones. This toner is a staple in my skincare collection and had earned its righteous title of being a reliable product for which I consistently reach out to, regardless if my skin is irritated or in a good state. I love how gentle and effective this is. The product is very hydrating and has a slippery, quite viscous consistency. I apply multiple layers using my hands and it doesn't slip from my palms as more traditional watery toners do, so there is no product waste. I apply multiple layers and I don't feel bad as this product is inexpensive. I think everyone will enjoy this toner regardless of their skin type or season.
