ROYAL FERN - darintufani review for Cleansing Balm

Amazing. Refreshhing. Nourishing. Calming. Lifting. Illuminating. A little goes a long way. Well worth the money for celebrity skin! This is a surprising new product available in the UK and i had the pleasure of testing out a deluxe sample of it courtesy of Liberty. With the product name alone, i was expecting something along the lines of Augustinus Baders cleansing balm, which i personally find too heavy and oily. But the Royal Fern cleansing balm actually feels like a richly emolient milky cleansing gel in texture, but lightly emulsifies to a very light foam. Wow, it is refreshing, and light whilst also feeling very nourishing and luxurious. I use 1 pumps worth alone which is more than adequate, lightly activated with a drop of water between the palms of my hand and then directly onto an already wet face, smoothing on following the contours of my face with a swipe upwards. It really glides super easily on with a cooling refreshing sensation. There is no need to be heavy handed. I’ll then work it into the nooks with my fingers tips before wiping away with a muslin cloth following by a good gentle rinse with cold water (though it states to use warm water i find it ultra soothing to use cold). Such a Supremely refreshed and deeply cleansed feeling without any soreness or irritation, no signs of redness and an overall non stripped, nourished, illuminated and lifted feeling. My face has never looked so awake and alive. I actually got compliments the next day at work. This cleansing balm is particularly good following on from any vigorous skin treatments or exfoliation as it is so calming. I highly recommend this along with all the other products in the Royal Fern range , particularly the Phytoactive Hydra Firm Intense Mask which i will review too.
