This is more like a lightweight cream than a serum. Personally this was one of the most gentle vitamin C I’ve used. Even when I damaged my skin barrier over the summer, this caused me no issues. There’s also no problems with oxidation, which leads me to believe that there is very little pure vitamin C in the formulation as I also cannot see the normal stuff they use to stabilize the formula. However, I am far from an expert on this topic so this is just my feelings. There are some fruit extracts and organic alcohol in the ingredients, but the scent is quite mild and I had no issues with the alcohol. This is a good option for those that have sensitivity issues with Vitamin C or want something that is not too potent, even with the 20% claim. Their all natural claims will also appeal to some. It is also a good price for a product containing Vitamin C Ester.
