product review positives
[Description] per amazon.com >Magically sets - gently blends >Presents your fav atmospheric mood >Delicately designed with the expressiveness of dawn and noon [Key Ingredients] *Full ingredients lists for each shade can be found on YesStyle.com But in general, these contain talc, silicones, fragrance, and seed oils. Shades 1, 4, 5, and 9 contain Carmine, which I'm guessing are Sunbow, Daizy, Dream All Day, and Vintage Caramel. So, this is not a vegan product. [Price] I received this palette from Picky and Holika Holika in exchange for my review, but a quick search shows me it's going for $18.91 USD on YesStyle, $30.49 on Stylevana, and around $22-28 from various ebay sellers. [Packaging] I actually quite love the simple and clean design of this palette's component. It's plastic, but feels sturdy, not at all like drugstore packaging here in the US, and the matte beige stone color is very chic to me. It's very aesthetically appealing. I also love clear windows on palettes. It's very inviting packaging. [Shade Range] The Daizy palette has a medium range of very fair light, to a medium-deep brown with some spicy warmth to it. It is not an orange c9ral vibe that is depicted online, it's really quite neutral. While most shades have hints of grey or red, Hey, Sunshine and Like Magic are sunny warm shades. The center shade Dream All Day will be the shade to offer depth, unless you have a very fair skin tone that can be contoured with shades from the bottom row. The bottom row do offer color on my lids, but I definitely feel the need to create depth with the center shade, or apply eyeliner for definition. Overall, this feels like a muted neutral Autumn palette. Very sweater weather cozy that's neither too rich and warm, nor too cool and ashy. It offers a lovely balance. [Texture] There are two finishes in this palette: matte and matte sparkle. I normally don't like matte shades containing glitter particles because the glitter usually just ends falling down onto the face and the combination of textures is just too stark for me. BUT! This matte sparkle formula is so lovely! The glitter pieces are very small, very fine, but you can still see the pieces flash in light. it is very, very pretty. Its formula feels smooth, no grit whatsoever, and it adheres to skin well! Maybe patting down a primer before would offer extra hold, but I honestly have not had an issue applying this formula over a powder-set eye primer (Milani). And the solid matte shades are also very nice. I did not have an issue with blending, but I still would recommend tapping into the pan to pick up a small amount, dsoftly tapping onto the lid, then blending. You do get pigment from the darker shades, so don't go too ham digging into the pan. These shadows are so soft and blendy that they do produce some kick-up when you put your brush, so gentle tap the brush handle to let go of the excess and you won't see any fallout on your face. ✨This formula actually feels like a better ColourPop matte formula because it blends out, but doesn't blend away to nothing. [Pigment] To preface, I am a light-medium olive skin tone. Usually a 5/25 in Korean foundations, maaaaybe get away with a 23/24 during the Winter. So, knowing I am South Korean but of a deeper skin tone, these shades don't all show up on me. And I knew that. They're all pigmented to an acceptable degree, acknowledging my aesthetic is within a Western scope, but some would just work better on fair skin and that's okay. I'm actually able to use those shades as face shades. Below, I will list how I use each shade: Sunbow - wash of color on lid, cheek blush Lazy Afternoon - face highlighting, setting powder to cover redness/darkness Daydream - color correct areas lacking pigment around mouth Daizy - eyeshadow topper Dream All Day - smokey rusty depth for instant dry Autumn look, definition Hey, Sunshine - eyeshadow topper Cocoa Berry - cool wash of color on lid, any kind of contour Like Magic - warm wash of color on lid Vintage Caramel - neutral wash of color on lid *These are very slightly buildable, but you won't get deeper pigment than what you see on the pan. [Stain] No staining effect on the eyelids. [Scent] I think there is fragrance in all shadow formulas, but to smell anything I have to be very close to the powders. And it actually smells quite nice to me. Like gentle spiced lavender. [Conclusion] I truly enjoy this palette. I find I can get a pretty yet sultry look, but I can also get very subtle, polished looks that are very apropo to the Fall season in Korea. This can give you that TV celebrity look where they're wearing makeup, but it barely looks as if they are lol Sometimes I will reach outside of this palette for my Dose of Color Marvelous Mauves palette, or even a Pat McGrath palette to grunge it up or increase depth, but those are palettes I never reached for before using this Daizy palette! So, I'm actually quite glad to have found this missing piece that facilitates the use of other palettes in my collection. ☺️ Now the big question: ✨Would I purchase again? Hmm . . . I'm leaning toward no because I don't think I'll ever need to repurchase any of the palettes I currently own! But . . . this really is such an easy palette to work with. I kind of always end up with the same look, but it's reliable, pretty every time, and sooo Fall season. I've been using this for my daily work makeup. Maybe I'll realize just how essential it is once it's gone 😅 **I received this product for free from Picky and Holika Holika in exchange for my honest review.
product review negatives
❌I can't recommend this for anyone of a deeper skin tone than mine. I'm right on the edge as it is. ❌It's quite pricey. I don't know that I find this palette to be worth more than around $20-22? ❌One other deep shade would be a nice addition, but that's personal preference.

@Robynrose Yes, that's my skin tone. Most Korean eyeshadow is designed like this. Lips are bold, not eyes. I wrote about what I personally do with shades that don't show up on my eyes in the review.

oof, not sure if it's the lighting but that pigment payoff in the video looks next to invisible. Good if you like subtle, neutral looks, but nothing bold. :<
