I have always been a fan of Axis-Y products because they have been proven effective for me. What I love about the brand in particular is the values they hold, their commitment and their aim to provide a better, more high qualities, vegan friendly, cruelty free and climate inspired skincare. I've not seen any brand that upholds such values and goals like Axis-Y. What's more, the brand always ensure to use only ingredients that are natural and safe and not harmful ingredients such as parabens, fragrance, mineral oil and many more. When I first heard of the term 'Climate inspired skincare', I was confused and wondered why was it important for our skincare products to be climate based. Axis-Y knew that the weather and climate will always change and our skin often experience an ever-growing complex environment influenced by growing pollution, stressors and, UV rays and climate change. Not only that, when people travel to another country, they find the weather too harsh to their skin and the skincare products they use will not be of much help to them. Hence, all of AXIS-Y products contain 6-2-2 Advanced Formula which is formulated to work for problematic skin as well as for people living in countries where the weather is so humid such as in the Southeast Asia region. Recently, the brand developed a new product line known as 'ay&me'. This product line was created after carrying out thorough research and obtaining real feedback from participants living in 68 countries on order to develop products that meet their skincare needs. Not only that, Axis-Y upgraded some formulas of their existing products! What is ay&me? This luxurious skincare line is developed specifically with one's comfort and skin health in mind. Each product has been especially developed to strengthen the skin barrier function, improving skin regeneration and repair while slowing signs of skin aging through proper nourishment and effective formulations. Through the unique formulations in their ay&me line, the brand presents a solution for balanced, healthy skin by including a special biome blend which nurture the skin’s natural biome. What is Special Biome Blend? The Special Biome Blend is a unique formulation created by AXIS-Y. It is a blend of 5 different prebiotics and probiotics combined at the optimal ratios for benefits such as improving complexion and skin health. The special formula includes Lactobacillus Lisate: improves the skin’s natural biome, increasing Vitamin C to help improve blemishes and brighten skin complexion. Lactococcus Ferment Lysate: Helps to smooth skin complexion and skin tone, while also providing moisture to give vitality to the skin. Some time ago, I received the Axis-Y Biome Comforting Infused Toner and was very glad to try out their new product line! This toner looked really promising so I had high hopes for it. I have written so much above so let's just dive into my review! 💦About Axis-Y Biome Comforting Infused Toner: A toner formulated to supply instant hydration and improve skin texture. 5 kinds of mineral-rich probiotics and prebiotics are included in the special “Biome Blend” for dry and sensitive skin which reacts to small changes in the environment. It works to strengthen and clear the skin. Also the plant-derived soothing duo provides smooth moisture and radiance without irritation, while the “nourishing bubbles” which are visible when the bottle is shaken helps to improve the skin’s water-oil balance, providing comforting care for the skin’s natural state. 💦Key Ingredients: Special Biome Blend👉Works to strengthen and clear the skin and improves skin texture to give the skin a healthy glow. Mugwort👉Has excellent antioxidant and antibacterial properties, soothing the skin. Centella Asiatica👉Has antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties, and helps to calm the skin. 💦Texture: A watery, lightweight texture that sinks into the skin really well. 💦Packaging: Starting off with its unit carton, it's made with recycled, yet good qualitied cardboard. There's a security seal on the top and very detail instructions in Korean and English plus an introduction of the product's line featured on the box. Opening it up, my eyes are greeted by a beautiful, coffee-coloured, tall and sleek bottle made from a tinted frosted plastic. It is matched with a white screw-typed of cap and simple, white printing. I love the quality of this bottle and its packaging design which has a clean and modern approach that suits the brand. Furthermore, it's lightweight and its sleek design allows this bottle to be easily carried around. 💦Scent: It has a scent similar to Chinese traditional medicine 😂 💦Who is Axis-Y Biome Comforting Infused Toner for? All skin types (¯`·._.·Personal Experiences·._.·´¯) Obviously, Axis-Y put in a lot of efforts to make this toner better suit all skin types influenced by different climates. So, I was ready to expect anything good and not disappointing. This toner aims to nourish, protect and hydrate skin. I don't have aging skin but uneven and dull skin tone. Hydration at the moment isn't my top priority because my skin is constantly moisturised. I use this toner twice per day and after several days, I could definitely see that my skin looks hydrated, fresher, more radiant and the new breakouts appeared under controlled. Moreover, the toner helps to regulate sebum production so my skin didn't get oily easily. The toner also helps to reduce skin inflammation and it soothes the skin whenever the weather makes my skin feel itchy. Another thing I love about this toner is its formula, the Special Biome Blend which I find very unique and it's what set this toner apart from others. Furthermore, I love the ingredients as well as its packaging design. It's beautifully designed and very different from the brand's other packagings which are typically dominated in green and white colours. During my first experience with it, I was hit by a weird scent which reminded me of traditional Chinese medicine but luckily, the scent doesn't stay and I soon got used to it. Yet for those who may not be used to the scent may find it a bit of a turned-off. This toner is absolutely a no-hype toner. It literally does as its description and I have no issues with this toner. The Axis-Y Biome Comforting Infused Toner is basically a winner in all!!! 5/5 stars rated!
