It turns out that Glowful Cream is not a gel cream like that. The gel is firm and feels "thick". Moisturizing properties are very occlusive (contains several kinds of silicone), so that when used it feels stifling. I usually cheat by removing the cream in my hands, smoothing it, then tapping it (not rubbing it) when it is applied to the face. The aroma is the same as the essential serum, but softer. When finished applied to the face, the cream takes time to be absorbed by the skin properly and does not feel sticky. I once applied sunscreen before the cream was fully absorbed, then my sunscreen was then pilled. I like the packaging, the airless pump bottle keeps the cream quite hygienic and doesn't have much direct exposure to air. Usually I use 1-2 pumps for face and neck. At first I used it in my morning skincare routine. My face feels hot and looks oily. Especially after using sunscreen. Finally I reduce the dose (0.5 - 1 pump). After reducing the dosage, it turns out to be able to keep my skin moisturized throughout the day, without feeling hot and not making my skin feel greasy. When used in routine night skincare, with its occlusive nature, this cream is able to lock in all the hydration and moisture provided by previous skincare products. Initially it feels sticky, but when it is absorbed, the skin feels very soft, supple and looks brighter. This makes me prefer to use Glowfull Cream in my skincare routine at night, rather than in the morning. Because I prefer a moisturizer that is light and absorbs quickly in the morning and during the day.
