100% Pure Jojoba Oil
After 2-3 months on adapalene, my normally very oily skin became dehydrated, tight, and flaky (I suspect my barrier was also compromised). It was a whole new issue that my face has never gone through before and my usual moisturizer was not cutting it, even after stopping adapalene.
I was looking for hydrating products that could help and found this at home among my mom's skincare products. This looked familiar from my research (and this exact product and brand was recommended by Cassandra Bankson on youtube) and gave it a try.
TLDR: IT WAS A LIFESAVER.
• Dries quickly for an oil product
• feels good even on my oily, acne prone, sensitive skin
• close as it can be to natural sebum
• does not feel icky compared to actual face sebum
• skin instantly feels plump, hydrated, and healthy!!!
• skin doesn't look oily, greasy, or shiny when applied
• noticed less oil buildup throughout the day since I started using it
• For (60mL) PHP 500+ it's cheap, cause you only need a little
• can be applied on face, elbows, legs, + any dry spots
• vegan
• 100% cold pressed (refer to attached pic)
• literally one ingredient!!!
Tips
Since it dries quickly, it's best to get a drop then wipe on a portion of your face, then spread.
Best to use at night after washing your face:
I haven't tried to use it before sunscreen so I can't recommend using it in the AM.
❗ (see update) I still use a moisturizer at night to seal all of it in but I think it's already a 2-in-1 hydrator and occlusive so you can probably skip the moisturizer.
Bought at Healthy Options, I also found sellers online.
People who have dry skin would probably love this.
❗ (see update) Can also be used as the first step for double cleansing.
No need to wash the residual product on hands after spreading, it helps hydrate them too!
If I recall correctly, jojoba oil is non comedogenic.
This is the only brand of jojoba oil I've tried.

(You can't see traces of it on my skin in the pic, but you can definitely feel the difference)
❗UPDATE:
August 10, 2021
After using it for 4-5 months, I personally felt that it's best to use it with a moisturizer afterwards.
As I was only using it as a kind of "first aid" for my severely dry skin (due to the pandemic had to resort to products available at home) from medication, I would not recommend this as the sole hydrator/cure-all for the situation I was in; healing an impaired skin barrier really takes time (it's still a fantastic oil for dry skin).
Not a good oil cleanser as it is not formulated to emulsify. Although, it can be used as such, it won't be effective and would lead to using too much of the product.
Everything else written still holds true. 😊
Even if the product dries quickly, do not layer too much on the face :)
