Fat Water Pore Refining Toner Serum
This was a product i was the most excited about, when it comes to Fenty’s first launch. I liked the concept of a toner/serum hybrid and i was intrigued by witch hazel - it has been demonized recently, but it’s still a good ingredient that has it’s uses and benefits. I don’t have a lot of products with it though, so i was glad i would be able to add something with it to my routine.
Fat water from Fenty is an okay product. I wouldn’t say it’s bad, as it works fine - it is a viscous toner that isn’t really hydrating but it won’t leave you feeling dry and it’s nice to use under a moisturizer, especially in the morning if you don’t have the time for a long routine. It contains niacinamide, so you can expect some benefits from this active as well, so if you are looking for a toner with niacinamide, it can be a good choice. It isn’t light, but it is still watery enough that you can layer it with serums without a problem. You can also use it after hydrating or exfoliating toners.
The smell of thia product is amazing and i completely love it. Along with Fenty’s cleanser, those are the best smelling cosmetics i have ever used 💙
It’s not bad, but if you are looking for spectacular results, it’s not the product for you. I think it’s a great start if you never had experience with acids, but it’s not a great treatment step. It can help a little with oiliness and controling oil production, but it won’t brighten your skin or cure your acne. If you are looking for a hydrating product, it won’t provide enough of it to make a lasting efect for dry or dehydrated skin.
