2svelte review for Retacnyl Tretinoin Cream

I could see, after just a few months of use, that my skin became a lot bouncier/thicker/less dull-looking. It's proven that tretinoin is fantastic for maintaining/producing collagen for the skin...IF you use it long-term. However I originally bought it just for acne control which did not help much since my acne was hormonal. I knew this was a great product though since it made my skin look great even WITH acne AHAHA What's important is that you NEED to know how to apply this product properly. You can't just slap half the contents of the tube onto your face and call it a night because that will damage your skin barrier. I've experimented with multiple ways to apply tretinoin and my tip would be to always use a moisturiser on your face first, and then apply a small amount of tretinoin onto your skin (all over) EXCEPT YOUR UNDEREYE AREA. DON'T PUT IT UNDER YOUR EYES EVER because it can cause excessive dryness. Applying moisturiser won't affect tretinoin's potency so don't worry about that! Also, ALWAYS use sunscreen during the daytime to prevent the benefits of tretinoin from being flushed down the toilet. There's no point using a product that tackles hyperpigmentation and skin longevity if you're gonna let the sun ruin all your progress the next day. What's such a bonus for a university student like me with a tight budget is that over here in Malaysia, this product is super cheap and affordable. Plus, since you only need to use a small amount of it in a week, a single tube can last years.
