Retinol Serum
I’ve been using the retinol serum for a month now. In the first week I used it twice, but I started using it once every three days from the second week onwards because the serum is really gentle. The formula of the serum is viscous but feels lightweight and absorbs fast into the skin. It doesn’t leave a sticky or tacky feeling and l experienced no irritation, redness or peeling.
So, after using it for a month, the serum really helped to even out my skin tone and discolouration caused by hormonal acne on my chin. And my skin is smoother and plump.
Overall, I enjoy using the retinol serum and will continue using it to see if it will reduce fine lines too :)
In the third week I started getting a few break outs - although I’m not sure if that’s caused by the retinol serum or the new products I tried that week. Occasionally pimples still appear but they are smaller and disappear quicker.
I also experienced some dryness around the jaw line. But I often forgot to do the sandwich method (moisturiser-retinol-moisturiser) and I already have dry skin.. so I just got to make sure I use a moisturiser before using the retinol serum.
As for wrinkles, I haven’t noticed any difference with fine lines on my forehead. It’s probably too soon to tell as that would take much longer to see results.
