Exuviance - Sharonspendstoomuch review for Performance Peel AP25 - Activator Pad

I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review from Influenster and Exuviance. I had never tried this brand before. While I initially thought this is expensive at $86 for a 6 week supply or 12 peels,I was pleasantly surprised at how much of a difference they made after using only 3 times. This is an at- home chemical peel intended fir use 1-2 times per week to diminish fine lines, wrinkles and skin dullness. It comes with 13 activator pads (Step 1) and 13 neutralizer pads, that are packaged in individual sachets that are convenient for travel. I like how they have an extra set of pads so you can test for sensitivity so you can get a full 6 weeks use if you use these once a week. This review is for Step 1 the Activator pad. To use, open the package, remove the pad and apply it all over the face, avoiding eye & lip area or any sensitive areas. Don’t leave on more than 10 minutes, or even less if it stings and feels uncomfortable. Step 2 is to apply the neutralizer pad (reviewed separately), and then rinse well with water and follow up with moisturizer. The activator pads contain 25% blend of AHAs and PHAs - Glycolic Acid, Mandelic Acid and Gluconolactone, which can leave a burning or tingling sensation on the skin. Personally I feel a slight tingling sensation as I apply it all over. However I didn’t have any peeling, burning or irritation, like I’ve experienced with other AHA peels. It is a little sticky and skin feels tacky as the peel processes. My skin feels soft and texture is so smooth! I used this only at night and after using 1 time a week, my skin also appears brighter. I haven’t seen a huge difference to my dark spots, but they do appear to be a little less visible. I’m very impressed and will definitely recommend! Just be sure to wear sunscreen as AHA products can increase UV sensitivity.
