Oil and Pore Control Mattifier Broad Spectrum SPF 45 PA++++
Since I use so many Korean sunscreens, I tend to lift my nose a bit at those that aren’t. Expecting the worst from them 😂 well, @murad surprised me with their Oil and Pore Control Mattifier Broad Spectrum sunscreen
First, it’s a chemical screen with SPF45/PA++++ so protection level I’m happy with, for those with oily skin, this works as a moisturizer, eliminating a step in your routine and for folks like me with combo skin, this doesn’t dry out the skin.
I apply over my moisturizer, it’s on the thicker side, with a light citrus scent, and it blends into the skin right away with zero cast, no eye irritation. Instantly forming a soft matte finish on my skin, which I truly appreciate, as it can be hard to get that!
Minimizes the appearance of pores, and feels really comfortable on my skin. Now they claim it’s a great makeup primer, I’m not sure I agree, I’ve used with a tinted moisturizer, with no issue, but noticed a bit of pulling when I used with more than that.
There’s always a down side though, on this one it’s the price tag, at $49 for a 50ml tube you’re not getting away cheap. I feel like this is in-line with Murad prices as a whole, they are a brand that makes nice products, but charges a heavier price than I generally want to pay.
Key ingredients
* Oil trapping microspheres
* Avocado and African Yellow Wood Bark Extracts to control oil
* Sodium Hyaluronate - hydration
* Allantoin - soothing
* Glycerin
*This does have added fragrance, and fragrancing ingredients
Overall I enjoy this, and I’ll definitely be using it all up, but won’t be repurchasing it any time soon, at least not at this price
The price is very high, and I do notice a bit of pilling when I use as a makeup primer
