Firstly, for context, my skin is pretty used to retinols. did not experience any purging with this serum or any form of adverse reaction. The texture of this serum is creamy and has a thick gel feel to it. I would suggest using any watery serums in your routine before this one. I did find this easy to spread and absorb though. I love that this includes a blend of retinol and bakuchiol, as well as various hydrating ingredient such as glycerin. While I can't evaluate their wrinkle claims since well, I'm 22 haha, I did notice that this helped keep my skin plump as they claimed.
