a month ago, @alivelab_global reached out to me and offer a collaboration. they asked if I had acne as my skin concern and I said yes, so they’re giving me this centella dressing powder to try. it’s something new for me since I never tried acne care care in powder form before, so I’m excited to share my experience with it! ☺️ this dressing powder comes in a mini tube with baby blue color that contains 8gr amount in it, makes it travel friendly. the main ingredient is centella asiatica—one of my favorite ingredients that is great for treating acne; soothes inflammation, reduce redness, irritation and have antibacterial properties. just like the name, it has powder texture with no scent detected. just be careful to pour it if planning to use only abit, since the hole from the packaging is quite huge. this dressing powder can be used in many ways! if you’re having pimple, you just have to apply the dressing powder using cotton bud and tap it gently on your pimple areas. since the powder itself is dry, I use it after toner to make it ‘stick’ on my skin. but if having acnes like me, you can either choose to mix it with toner or moisturizer.. both can do, but I personally prefer using moisturizer to mix it with the dressing powder! since it creates a paste form which makes it easier to apply and rub on the skin. I use it after serum step, and after it absorbs nicely, sometimes I’d layer it again with moisturizer (especially during night routine) since it gives powdery, velvety finish on my skin.
