In short, Niacinamide is a true powerhouse that helps to regulate skin oil production, redness, irritation, as well as functioning as a strong antioxidant. -> Rice Bran Oil Rice Bran Oil is popular in Korean and Japanese skincare as it has been shown to reduce signs of aging and improve skin elasticity. I think adding this ingredient to sunscreen is a great find, as it can help fight free radicals and ward off harmful UV. Rice Bran also contains vitamin E and oleic acid, which is a strong moisturizer in the skin. -> Ceramide NP Ceramides are like the glue that keeps your skin’s cells together. The more ceramides in your skin barrier, the more elasticity and plumpness your skin will have! In short, I think ceramides are essential in anyone’s skincare routine! ☆ 𝙁𝙞𝙧𝙨𝙩 𝙏𝙝𝙤𝙪𝙜𝙝𝙩𝙨 I got this product in a small sample sachet, and I was pretty excited to try it out. The product itself has a very slight tone, which made me hopeful that this tint would counteract the whitecast that often comes with mineral sunscreen. I have little luck with physical sunscreens even though my skin is very pale. And sadly, this product was no different. After trying to rub it in for five minutes, waiting 10 minutes, and trying to rub it in again, my face still looked like a ghost! Luckily, the formulation itself is not irritating or stinging. But I simply can’t wear this out! ☆ 𝙈𝙮 𝙀𝙭𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚 I hate to be negative, but I really did not enjoy this product. It’s just another sunscreen that makes false promises about leaving no whitecast, which I think is just sad. The very faint, fair tint in the product shows the lack of inclusivity. After trying to apply, I had to wash it off as I looked like I had been dead for a good week already. No more mineral sunscreens for me :(
