Dive-in Mild Sun Cream SPF 50+ PA++++
Let's start with the packaging – it comes in a sleek white tube with a light blue cap. The small dispensing opening allows for precise control, making it convenient for applying sunscreens. The minimalist design and the texture of the container give it a luxurious feel. Plus, it's eco-friendly, crafted from FSC-certified materials and printed with soy ink.
Moving on to the product itself, it has a milky white color and a thick, cream-like consistency, as expected from a sun cream.
Now, the scent – it's pleasantly unscented, though you may detect a subtle hint of the ingredients, reminiscent of the scent you encounter when underwater in a swimming pool.
Let's discuss the claimed benefits: this is a vegan sun cream containing zinc oxide for sun protection without irritation. With SPF50+ PA++++, it guards against UVA and UVB rays. It boasts 10 types of hyaluronic acid for deep skin hydration. The non-sticky formula applies smoothly without leaving a whitecast, making it suitable for sensitive skin.
In my experience, I noticed a whitecast upon initial application, but it fades after a few minutes of blending. While it can be intimidating at first due to the initial whitecast, thorough blending is key. Impressively, despite being a mineral sunscreen, it doesn't leave a glaring whitecast and doesn't roll off the skin like some others I've tried.
I also appreciate the finish – it gives my skin a dewy look with an instant glass skin effect, and it doesn't accentuate skin textures; rather, it blurs them.
All in all, I love this product, especially for a mineral sunscreen. I highly recommend it to those who prefer mineral sunscreen without the whitecast issue, and it's a great choice for sensitive skin as well.
Here's a friendly tip regarding this product: due to its thick consistency, it's advisable not to apply too much, as it will require more time to blend and eliminate any potential whitecast on your face.
Additionally, if you have creases or folds on your neck, like I do, be aware that the product may accumulate in those areas over time. Personally, I avoid using it on my neck for this reason.
While this sun cream doesn't typically leave a whitecast, you may notice a slight skin tone enhancement, especially if you apply an excessive amount. It can give a tone-up effect when overused.
