The texture is smooth but also chunky. When I applied and left it on for 5 minutes, it started to dry and harden. I did not feel any tingling feeling this whole time like some people said they did. Now this is the good part, when it's time to wash off, the rubbing motion and water softened the mask, and at the same time it removes dead skin cells and impurities. This might feel a little harsh so try to be gentle as you go. When it's done, I looked like a baby. No I didn't. Just joking. But you know what I mean. My skin looked and felt so clear, soft and smooth, especially my blackheads, they disappeared quite a lot. I use this mask twice a week to maintain the clear skin and help products absorb much better.
