I received this product for free from Picky and Athé in exchange for my honest review. Athé's Vital C-Some Toning Capsule Toner This is a vegan brightening toner infused with a hundred thousand capsules of Vitamin C, equivalent to 40 lemons that not only brightens the skin tone but also moisturises and strengthens skin barrier. It penetrates deeply into the skin to improve skin’s vitality and overall appearance. The capsulation technology this toner uses, makes it visually appealing. I had never seen a ‘capsule’ toner before, so it was quite intriguing to see the several small orange flecks floating in it. It looks a bit like a mix of oil and water. It has a subtle citrusy smell (fades quick) and a light texture that feels more like a rich serum than a toner as it is on a thicker side. It goes on smooth, gets absorbed by the skin quick and doesn’t make the skin greasy or tacky. It moisturizes really well, but you still need it backed by a moisturizer!
