[Discontinued] Fre-C Sun Lotion SPF50+ PA ++++
This spf is a gel texture, similar, I think, to Cosrx’s oil free moisturizing lotion, if anyone is familiar with that product. Or, if anyone has used Nivea’s sun protect water gel spf, this one is very similar in texture, if only the slightest bit heavier. Rubbing it in, it starts as a gel/milky lotion and quickly turns into a watery, lightweight texture. I wouldn’t say the finish of this is “matte,” it’s more of a silky, glowy finish; it settles into the skin quite nicely and makes your skin look and feel bouncy and supple. Ultimately, I think this is a great lightweight, moisturizing, spf with no visible white cast. It does have a typical spf, almost floral, scent, but I don’t personally find it overpowering or lingering.
I think this is a great spf for all skin types, especially those that find they commonly break out from spf or that their spf is too thick/heavy. I checked the ingredients on Cosdna, and no ingredients raised a red flag as being acne-causing or irritating. Some spf’s are so thin and/or matte that they might accentuate textured skin and dry patches, but this product is definitely not that. Those with oily skin would likely be able to use this as an spf and moisturizer in one; same goes for any skin type in the warmer months. As a plus, the price is pretty affordable too. So, if you’re on the hunt for a lightweight, gel-type spf that doesn’t feel thick on the skin—definitely consider this one!
Nothing bad to say 👍
