SPF50 Photodamage Defence Sunscreen
I am sorry but I have to leave a negative review!
I hate doing this as I like Dermatica as a brand, their prescription formula works really well and I like many of their other products but not this one!
Positives:
- Very short and simple ingredient list, with Panthenol and vitamin E. Unlikely to bother even sensitive skin.
- great airless pump packaging .
- very good and reliable UV filters.
- did not sting my skin or my eyes, seems very gentle.
- affordable price.
I cannot get along with the texture and finish of this product!
- It is so thick and I struggle to spread it properly on my skin.
- It does not absorb properly, it stays on the surface of my skin like a sticky layer.
- It pills like crazy no matter what I do! ( One layer at a time, cutting steps in my routine... Nothing works).
- despite the glowy finish it does not feel moisturising at all.
- Makes my makeup crumble and melt.
It's a NO, I just can't make it work!
I think the people raving about this have been paid to say it's amazing when it's not!
I have spent my own money to buy this and I can tell you it feels uncomfortable, sticky and does not absorb. Just lays on top on your face and pills.
I wish they would reformulate this product to reduce the pilling at least.
