Dr.Belmeur Red Pro-Retinol Serum
This retinol serum contains moisturizing and soothing ingredients to gently introduce retinol into your skin.
So this is definitely more of a cream than a serum. It's kind of thick for what I expected, and needs to be worked into the skin. It leaves your skin feeling a little like there's a thin layer of something on it, bug it looks nice and isn't sticky or tacky. It plays ok with most other products. I only had a sample so I don't know how it works long term, but for the few days I used it it seemed to be working as well as any other gentle retinol.
Cost: $41-64 CAD per 50ml
It has a lot of fragrance and sensitizing ingredients. I was not a fan of the scent at all and was scared it was going to ruin my skin. Luckily it didn't, but I wouldn't recommend it to others who are sensitive.
Although it does well with most other products, some cause it to not only pill, but to suddenly turn into a white sticky layer you have no choice but to wash off. I would test it on your arm with layered products before putting it on your whole face and discovering you have a problem.
