The Product: Rael Daily Zen Balancing Toner is a hydrating and soothing toner that is suitable for all skin types, including sensitive and acne-prone skin. Daily Zen toner is alcohol-free, so it doesn't leave skin feeling tight, dry, or stripped. It includes ingredients such as H3O Hyaluronic Acid Complex, Chinaberry Extract, and Vitamin B5 to balance skin's pH levels, tone, hydrate, and leave skin feeling healthy and bouncy. It also includes niacinamide, flower and fruit extracts (such as Melia Azadirachta Flower Extract, Turmeric Root Extract, Eggplant Fruit Extract, etc) and Aloe Barbadensis Flower Extract. It's also formulated using clean and vegan ingredients, and is cruelty-free. My Experience: I first used this toner after getting a little aggressive with my exfoliator the night before (oops!) so my skin was red and irritated and in need of some soothing moisture. I decided to try this toner due to its soothing and hydrating properties, and because it contains Aloe. I also have been wanting to try a product from Rael's skincare line, because they began as a women's health and wellness company, so their skincare line is supposed to be formulated to counteract any problems caused by hormonal fluctuations throughout different times of the month. I experienced cooling, soothing relief immediately after applying this toner, and it helped calm my redness within 2 days. While using it for those few days, I began noticing other benefits, such as a more even skin tone, and bouncier, glowy skin. I decided to continue using it for those reasons, and because it does such an amazing job at smoothing and hydrating skin that it also perfectly preps it for the next steps in my skincare routine, and helps with maximal absorption of my serum and moisturizer. I've also noticed that it has strengthened my skin barrier, and overall leaves my skin feeling more balanced, refreshed, and rejuvenated. It's also an amazing value! I definitely plan to continue purchasing this toner, and I highly recommend it for all skin types!
