The Ordinary - SKJNL review for Pycnogenol 5%

Pycnogenol is an extract of the French Maritime pine tree, also known as pinus pinaster bark extract. This stuff is a powerful antioxidant and your best friend when it comes to fighting free radicals. But there are also studies that show that pycnogenol has anti-inflammatory and wound-healing properties. In addition to pycnogenol, this serum also has propanediol in the formula. Propanediol is the inci name for the trademarked ingredient Zemea. In its formula, propanediol forms a very strong duo with glycerine where they enhance each other's effect. Glycerine is a champion in hydration and together with propanediol you have extra hydration. I have been using this serum for a few weeks now and I really like the feeling on my skin. It is indeed very moisturizing and my skin feels really soft. With the thought in mind that I am doing something extra to prevent skin aging, I really don't want to miss this serum in my routine anymore.
