Texture & Scent ✨ Lightweight lotion, yellowish in colour (typical retinal colour) with familiar scent but I’m not sure what is the scent 🤣 Probably ferulic acid because Laneige Retinol serum with ferulic acid also has the same scent. 💭💭💭 I’m not new to retinoids and I want to step up my retinoid level. TMF mentioned their retinol is 1% pure retinol. Eventhough my skin is used with retinoids, I still did sandwich method when using this Retinol Overnight Booster. Even with sandwich method, I can feel the tingling sensation. That’s when I decided to applied every two days to get my skin used to it during the first week of usage. On the second week, I can used it everyday already. Texture is light, easy to absorb. Usually I will use 3 pumps for my face and neck. Been using it for 3 months, I get few big pustule acnes. Not sure I’m purging or too much dairy & sweet products consumed during my honeymoon trip in Thailand 😅 But these acnes are the same when I purged during initial 6 month using retinoid. I didn’t experience any dryness. I didn’t focus on my skin elasticity and wrinkles reduction too. But I observed my acne mark. Usually it will take me forever to lighten the acne marks, but within 3 months, I can see a lot of improvement. I would recommend this one to those who want to step up the retinoid game. Plus this is a local brand.
