I haven't experienced any negative traits of this product. However people who have sensitive skin might want to approach with caution at first, just because of the fact that ascorbic acid, especially at such a high concentration, can cause some irritation until your skin adjusts to it. My skin isn't sensitive at all, though, so I have no problems with irritation when I use it.
