The texture is very creamy and sticky like any other snail mucin products. It's well absorbed into the skin and you won't feel the stickiness. Although when you touch your skin, the stickiness will stay some minutes. It makes the skin silkier, smoother and moosturized. There was no irritation. I would add it as a last step of a skincare routine. The jar is quite big for a cream and you can easily use more of the product for other parts of the body that need lifting for example.
