Shield Fit Green Comfort Sun SPF50+ PA++++
Lets start with the protective factor of this sunscreen. It’s SPF50+, in terms of sun protection, I can’t fault it, it does protect your skin. It also contains centella which is an ingredient I LOVE on my skin for its calming properties. The application was a soothing experience.
You know you’re getting an even application of the product because if there are gaps in the whitecast on your face you know you’ve missed a spot.
The whitecast on this product did me dirty. It takes a LOT for whitecast to show up on my Caspar the friendly ghost complexion but this sunscreen somehow managed to make me even paler than I already was. When I say I looked casket-ready, I am not exaggerating.
Also, applying this product was weirdly difficult. The consistency results in the product drying down pretty fast and being difficult to blend, which is not great when you’re trying your best to blend out the whitecast. I also noticed that it would cling onto the hair on my face and make them stick together, I have bushy eyebrows and after using this they feel like I’ve used eyebrow wax on them. Overall, this is a huge pass from me.
