Optimum collagen day cream SPF 30 by Superdrug I was gifted this amazing product to test and review by the Superdrug community. .Packaging. This day cream is package in a metallic blue and white ombré design box. Which reminds me of the clear blue sky at day time. The weighting ok the box is black which is good as I can see the words on the back clearly. Once I open the box I can see that this day cream comes in a thick, clear, circle glass with a white, thick plastic lid. The product is also labelled with a matching metallic blue and white label. .Formula. The cream is the perfect texture, where it’s not to heavy or light. The creams colour is a simple white, and the creams doesn’t leave any white cast and soaks in well with the skin while being absorbed. The cream has a light smell, not overpowering or heavy but a very faint smell, which is perfect for the beginning of the morning day. The formula is a plant based collagen which means it’s suitable for vegans and has a powerful mix of peptides to help the skin feel smoother and firmer. This also contain 50ml which is a substantial amount which can last up to a few weeks if used well. .Key ingredients. The collagen day cream is said to contain a range of key ingredients the main three being: Plant collagen: derived form corn, soy and wheat proteins known to improve skin density and moisture levels of your skin. Hydration acid: helps to lock moisture into the skin and protect against dehydration. UVA and UVB Filters: to protect the skin and help to prevent sighs of sun damage. .Application. I applied this to my face in the morning after washing my face then waiting for it to dry. This product can be applied to face and neck if preferred or just your face. I applied to face and neck. I only applied an pinky full and spread across face and neck. At first I thought there would be a white cast however the cream blend out perfectly onto my skin and left it looking glowing and hydrated and left it feeling soft and moisturised. I do personally recommend to wash your hand after use as there will be quite a bit of product left on hands. Definitely love this product, and will definitely be recommending this product to friends.
