Mugwort Super Calming Toner

product review positives
I was gifted this product for free from Meditherapy and Picky in exchange for my honest review. Here's my review of the Meditherapy Mugwort Super Calming Toner: *My Experience:* I've been using the Meditherapy Mugwort Super Calming Toner for a few weeks now, and I'm obsessed! To apply, I sweep it across my face and neck with a cotton pad after cleansing and toning. It feels incredibly soothing and calming on my skin, like a gentle hug. *Scent and Ingredients:* This toner has a light, herbal scent that's not overpowering. The active ingredients include mugwort extract, witch hazel, and tea tree oil, which work together to reduce inflammation, balance my skin's pH, and combat acne. *Product Details:* The retail price is around $15 for a 16.9 fl oz (500ml) bottle. It's a great value for the price! The toner weighs 1.1 pounds (500g). *Usage and Safety:* I use it every evening as part of my nighttime skincare routine, but it's safe to use daily, morning and night. It's gentle enough for all skin types, even sensitive skin. *Skin Care Step:* I use it as the second step in my routine, after cleansing and before essence. *Compatibility:* It works well with other products, but I avoid using it with other products containing witch hazel or tea tree oil to avoid over-drying my skin. The active ingredients might conflict with products containing alcohol or artificial fragrances, so be cautious when mixing. *Texture and Active Ingredients:* The texture is lightweight and watery, making it perfect for balancing my skin's pH without clogging pores. As mentioned earlier, the active ingredients are mugwort extract, witch hazel, and tea tree oil. *Vitamin C, Retinol, AHA/BHA, and Niacinamide:* It's safe to use with vitamin C and niacinamide, but I avoid using it with retinol, AHA, or BHA, as it might reduce their effectiveness. *Korean Skincare:* Yes, this is a Korean skincare product! *Product History:* Meditherapy has been around for over 10 years, and this toner has been a best-seller for most of that time. Overall, I highly recommend the Meditherapy Mugwort Super Calming Toner for anyone looking for a gentle, effective toner that won't break the bank!
