Caudalie Paris - marniemorgana review for Anti-Wrinkle Face Suncare SPF50

The reason for 2* is that it is a creamy formula, lightweight enough but thicker than others and can leave a slight white cast. It wears quite well however I have an issue with some products with silicone (of its many forms) in and it is really unpredictable with products - where sometimes they exacerbate my face sweating. This product doesn’t have that silicone-y feel straight off the bat but it does give me the effect of a high silicone product which is just unfortunate for me. I’m not sure if other people face that issue but this is just my experience in general and with this specific product. I also haven’t really seen any sort of noticeable anti-wrinkle properties, and I’m sure one bottle is too short to see those sort of benefits, but I’m really not inclined to try more to see it through. Although this product also did not appear to affect my Rosacea and sensitive/acne prone skin which is good. Caudalie is pretty much infamous for their products containing grape water and I don’t know whether grape water smells although I don’t think grapes smell (?) so I can’t tell if there is a natural or added fragrance but there is an unpleasant scent but okay enough to withstand and it doesn’t linger. I’ve not tried other Caudalie products and won’t be volunatry doing so in the future due to the price and not super enjoyable experience that this product has reflected on the brands, although I have always eyed up some of their products, they now appeal less too me. Update: just finished the product and would like to add that it really doesn’t layer well, upon reapplication it pills and is really unsighlty in brows and hairline. Also stings the eyes alot.
